Acceptable Use Policy

Effective June 22, 2026 · Operated by Deep Thought Technologies Inc.

In plain English

Print only to yourself, and only things you're legally allowed to mail. No illegal content, no threats or harassment, no infringing other people's work, no fraud.

We can refuse, hold, or cancel any job, and our print partner can reject anything USPS won't carry. Break these rules and we may suspend or close your account — with no refund.

1. Print-to-self only

Printwhisk mails documents to the sender's own verified address. It is not a tool for sending mail to other people, for bulk or unsolicited mailings, or for using someone else's identity or address. Every letter goes to you.

2. What you may not print or mail

You agree not to use the service for, or to submit, any of the following:

  • Anything illegal under federal, state, or local law.
  • Threats, harassment, stalking, or content intended to intimidate or harm.
  • Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property, or that you do not have the right to reproduce.
  • Fraud, forgery, counterfeit documents, or anything designed to deceive (including impersonation and fake official notices).
  • Unsolicited commercial mail, chain letters, or content sent to an address that is not your own.
  • Content that is non-mailable under USPS rules, or that exposes our staff or print partner to legal risk.
  • Any attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

3. USPS and print-partner rules

Your letter is printed and mailed by our fulfillment partner and delivered by USPS. They may refuse content that violates the USPS Domestic Mail Manual or their own policies. If a job is rejected for these reasons we treat it as a fulfillment failure and credit you back, but we will not re-attempt content that cannot lawfully be mailed.

4. File rules

  • Documents must be valid PDFs.
  • A single job may be up to 5,000 pages.
  • We print in black & white only.
  • Larger documents may be split into multiple letters or mailed as one large envelope, as described on the pricing page.

5. Enforcement

We may refuse, hold, cancel, or remove any job, and suspend or terminate any account, if we believe these rules are being broken — with or without notice, and at our discretion. We do not refund jobs cancelled for a policy violation. Serious or illegal misuse may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

6. Reporting abuse

If you believe the service is being misused, or received mail through us that you believe violates this policy, contact abuse@printwhisk.com. Copyright complaints have a dedicated process on our DMCA page.
