The whole thing, in detail.
Download a small installer. It puts a printer called Printwhisk in your print dialog — same as installing any other printer. Nothing else to configure.
Ctrl+P or Cmd+P from any app. Pick Printwhisk. Hit Print. The OS renders your document to PDF and hands it to our driver. At this point it still hasn't left your machine.
If it's your first time, your browser opens to finish setup: email, address, wallet top-up. Your first document stays on your computer through this entire process — we only receive it after you confirm. That's deliberate.
Once the letter is in your account, you have 10 minutes to cancel (free), change the address (free), or just watch the countdown. After 10 minutes, we debit your wallet and forward it to the printer.
We use PostGrid as our fulfillment partner. They print, fold, envelope, and drop letters into USPS commercial mail every business day. They receive your PDF and your address — same as any printer-and-mailer would.
USPS First-Class. 2–5 business days to most US addresses. You get a notification when it ships. If the letter has USPS tracking, you get a tracking link.
Every debit shows in your wallet history. The PDF is purged from our servers 7 days after the estimated delivery date — we'd rather not keep your documents around longer than needed.
